Discovery Motorhomes Cancellation & Amendment Policy

Please find following the cancellation and amendment policies.

NOTE: If you are travelling during the Rugby World Cup period (1 September & 31 October 2011), please read the conditions further down the page under the heading 'Cancellations & Amendments - Rugby World Cup'.

Cancellation

In the case of cancelling your reservation, the deposit is Non Refundable. In addition there is a NZ$100 cancellation fee. A No Show is considered as a cancellation.

Cancellations must be notified in writing and the day of receipt of the cancellation is the date the cancellation fee as follows -

If cancelled:

• Up to 25 days prior to travel - 20% of rental + NZ$100 cancellation fee
• 24 - 7 days prior to travel - 25% of rental + NZ$100 cancellation fee
• 6 - 1 days prior to travel - 50% of rental + NZ$100 cancellation fee
• On day of pick up or No Show - 100% of rental + NZ$100 cancellation fee
• If vehicle is returned early for any reason there is no refund available for unused days

Amendments

Amendments are charged at a rate of NZ$60 per change. This applies but is not limited to changing the client name, vehicle type, reducing the number of rental days, changing the pickup dates or locations. No refund will be given on the initial deposit paid.

If an amendment is made to the rental whereby the length of hire is shortened, no refund will be given on the initial deposit amount nor can it be transferred to the balance payable on pick up. In addition, if an amendment is made inside 14 days of pick up, the rental will be charged at the number of days originally booked. A relocation fee may also apply if the collection or return location is amended.

If the amendment results in changing the vehicle brand your deposit is non transferable.

Where the hire is being extended, the amendment fee will not apply.

Please note that amendments may result in the daily rental rate to be recalculated at the rate applicable on the date of the amendment for the entire rental period.

Cancellations & Amendments - Rugby World Cup

The Rugby World Cup will be held in New Zealand during September and October 2011. In addition to United Vehicle Rentals normal terms and conditions, some additional conditions will apply to all United Campervans and Alpha Campervans bookings with a pick up between 01 September and 23 October 2011 inclusive as follows -

• The minimum hire period will be 14 days.
• Name changes of the hirer will not be permitted. Such requests will be treated as new booking and will be subject to availability.
• Amendments to the period of hire will only be accepted without penalty up to 3 months prior to the pick up date and will be subject to availability.
• Amendments to the period of hire within 3 months of the pick up date will be subject to an amendment fee of NZ$460 and will be subject to availability.
• Normal cancellation conditions will be strictly applied.
• Special promotional offers will not apply during the period of Rugby World Cup.

Full payment is required at time of booking.

If you choose to amend your reservation prior to pick up a NZ$60 amendment fee will apply. All amendments to bookings are subject to availability and different rates may apply based on the amendment made.

• If cancelled up to 150 days prior to travel - 20% of Rental
• If cancelled 149 - 91 days prior to travel - 50% of Rental
• If cancelled under 90 days of travel - 100% of Rental
• Late vehicle collection or early return during the hire - no refund available

If rental dates are amended within 60 days of the vehicle pick up, no refund will be made if the hire is shortened.

If the pick up or return location is amended within 60 days of the vehicle pick up, a relocation fee of NZ$1,000.00 may apply.

If the customer wishes to change the drop off destination after the rental has commenced, they must first obtain authorisation from the Reservations or Scheduling Departments. If approved a minimum charge of NZ$1,000.00 applies. The extra cost must be paid on confirmation of the change of the location.

Cancellation and Payment Requirements for Ferry Crossings

Payment for the ferry charges must be collected in full at the time of booking.

Bookings made for ferry crossings during 1 September & 31 October 2011 will require final customer names 90 days prior to travel or the space will be cancelled.

Booking made for travel during 1 September & 31 October 2011 that are cancelled or reduced in value within 28 days of travel will have a 70% cancellation penalty applied.

Full payment is required at time of booking.

If you choose to amend your reservation prior to pick up a NZ$60 amendment fee will apply. All amendments to bookings are subject to availability and different rates may apply based on the amendment made.

• If cancelled up to 31 days prior to travel - 20% of Rental
• If cancelled up to 30 - 15 days prior to travel - 50% of Rental
• If cancelled 15 - 0 days prior to travel - 100% of Rental
• Late vehicle collection or early return during the hire - no refund available
