About the Motorhomes

Can you take any Motorhome off road?

Motorhomes can only be driven on sealed/bitumen roads.

Are the Motorhomes new?

The luxury motorhomes are generally under 2 years old, economy vehicles can range from 3 to 5 years, whilst the budget vehicles are 5+ years. The specific age of the vehicle can be viewed via the quoting process.

All of the motorhomes undergo very strict and scheduled maintentence each time they are returned.

How do I choose the right campervan for me?

Campervans or Motorhomes are categorised in berths or in simple terms how many people they can sleep comfortably. All of the motorhomes details and features can be viewed on our website during the quoting process.

Do any of the campervans have a TV and DVD player?

Yes, most of the motorhomes have a TV and DVD players. You are able to view full vehicle details during the quoting process.

About Insurance

Do the motorhomes come with comprehensive Insurance?

Yes. They have comprehensive insurance as a standard inclusion in the daily rate, however in the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle you will be liable to pay the Liability Fee which ranges from $1,000 to $7,500. You can view full details in the terms and conditions page or insurance page.

Can I reduce my Liability

Yes. You can definitely reduce your liability (or excess). There are a few choices on our Insurance page and if you choose the Stress Free Package, Liability Reduction Option 2 (LRO2) is included in most cases.

About the Packages

What is the Stress Free Package?

All vehicles have an option to upgrade to this package, it is for those who prefer to have everything included. The actual inclusions differ with different vehicles but generally speaking this package includes Liability Reduction, Stamp Duty, Bedding & Linen Kits, Chairs & Tables, LP Gas Refills etc.

During the quote process tick the box where it asks do you want to upgrade to the Stress Free Package. The Stress Free Packages inclusions will then be shown on the screen.

General Questions

How do I obtain a quote?

You can obtain a quote by clicking here and follow the few simple steps. Once you fill out the details you will be emailed a more detailed quote including the depot address & phone number, liability & bond amounts and extras available for hire.

How do I convert my quote to a booking?

You can convert your quote to a booking by either clicking the link located on your quote called "Book Now" or by giving our team a call on 0800 003 022 (+61 7 3442 2900).

Are there free airport transfers in New Zealand?

Yes most branches offer a free shuttle service from the airport (and some from local hotels), for more details see our terms and conditions page.

Can I travel One Way?

Yes - between all branches one-way rentals are permitted but a minimum number of days apply. Each company has different minimum day requirements, and any surcharges will show on your quote if applicable.

Can Multiple Bookings be combined for a Lower Rates?

Yes - If you have multiple bookings with the same company (even if it is relating to New Zealand, Australia or US) these can be combined to give you a long term hire discount on both rentals. To do this you will have to email us as the system will not know about your other bookings. Some terms & conditions apply to multiple hires.

Can I make Secure Internet Payments? What are my other payment options.

Yes. When submitting your booking request you enter your credit card details in a secure socket layer SSL. For alternative payment options please email us directly and we can outline the best option for your situation.

Are any of the Motorhomes suitable for wheelchair access?

No, unfortunately there are no vehicles that are suitable for wheelchair access. The vehicles are not wide enough inside for movement.

What type of drivers licence do I need?

A current and full motor vehicle drivers licence is required for all drivers and must be presented upon vehicle collection. Should a foreign licence be in a language other than English it must be accompanied by a current international driving permit issued in the same country as the drivers licence was issued. An accredited English translation will be accepted in lieu of an international driving permit.
